About

As a Mental Health Professional, I recognized a specific need in New Orleans for not only the Mental Health needs of women and children, but also a need for basic lifestyle education such as managing personal finances, interview skills, training in social etiquette, childcare, and basic computer literacy.

I chose to earn my PhD in Urban and Regional planning as a way to assist underserved communities on a larger scale, one community at a time. It is my sincere hope that I can offer my services to help these families in a meaningful way in an effort to make positive changes in their daily lives.
